Studies have shown that learning a 2nd language aids students in other academic areas as well as enhancing creativity & problem-solving skills.
Our immersion-style Spanish Club includes interactive language lessons incorporating games, music, activities, singing and crafts. We’ll learn introductory phrases and vocabulary as well as learn vocabulary related to our theme
Sessions last between 8-12 weeks and run throughout the school year October – June.
Club meets weekly. For grades K - 5.
FALL THEME: Let’s roam with a Jaguar!
Ever wondered where jaguars roam, what they love to eat, or what their jungle homes look like? Get ready to explore! Students will dive into the wild world of jaguars, learning all about their habitats, migration, and diets. Along the way, they’ll pick up new vocabulary and phrases, all centered around our exciting jaguar theme.
But that’s not all! We’ll travel through different countries where jaguars live, uncovering fun facts and fascinating stories. As the seasons change, we’ll celebrate Fall and Winter holidays from both the USA and Latin America, discovering the unique traditions that make these times of year so special.
Students will also master their colors and numbers, counting from 1-20 (or even higher!). To bring the spirit of Fall alive, we’ll get creative with a variety of seasonal crafts, making beautiful art to celebrate the season.
And the adventure doesn’t stop in the classroom! Each student will receive a special notebook filled with learning materials and fun activities to practice at home, so the learning and exploration can continue long after class is over.

Miss Erika is a great Spanish teacher! I am originally from South America and I can tell her Spanish is excellent! I trust that my kids are getting a great Spanish education with her. She also makes the classes fun!! Highly recommended!

Spanish Exploradores was a great experience for my daughter. Being that she is only 5, I was skeptical about enrolling her into the program. To my surprise my daughter truly enjoyed learning the fundamentals of Spanish. Erika has a special way of engaging her students to want to learn. My daughter looked forward to participating in her Spanish Exploradores class every Thursday. When my daughter returned home, she would independently pull out her binder to review with me, what she had learned. This class is very beneficial if your looking for your child to learn a second language. Erika is an amazing instructor; you will not be disappointed!!!
