THURSDAYS
Studies have shown that learning a 2nd language aides students in other academic areas as well as enhancing creativity & problem solving skills.
Our immersion style Spanish Club includes interactive language lessons incorporating games, music, activities, singing and crafts. We’ll learn introductory phrases and vocabulary as well as learn vocabulary related to our theme
Sessions last between 8-12 weeks and run throughout the school year September – June.
Club meets weekly. For grades K - 4.
SPRING THEME:
Let’s GO to the Restaurant ! What is your favorite restaurant and type of food? Students
will learn about ordering food at a restaurant. We’ll practice dining
and ordering. How do you ask for the check? Learn introductory
vocabulary and phrases about the Spring as well as colors and numbers
1-20+. Students will hear about Spring Latin holidays and we’ll make a
variety of crafts related to Spring.
SCHEDULE:

Miss Erika is a great Spanish teacher! I am originally from South America and I can tell her Spanish is excellent! I trust that my kids are getting a great Spanish education with her. She also makes the classes fun!! Highly recommended!

Spanish Exploradores was a great experience for my daughter. Being that she is only 5, I was skeptical about enrolling her into the program. To my surprise my daughter truly enjoyed learning the fundamentals of Spanish. Erika has a special way of engaging her students to want to learn. My daughter looked forward to participating in her Spanish Exploradores class every Thursday. When my daughter returned home, she would independently pull out her binder to review with me, what she had learned. This class is very beneficial if your looking for your child to learn a second language. Erika is an amazing instructor; you will not be disappointed!!!

My son has been doing Spanish Exploradores for a few years now and he loves it. He asks to go back every session. He's even teaching it to me! It's a worthwhile program for anyone who wants their kids to have exposure to the Spanish language.
