In response to the pandemic, we prioritize connecting with each student. Our outdoor programs build community & incorporate language learning with music, games and crafts.
Learning a second language through our immersion style methodology encourages students to use comprehension skills, which benefits the developing young mind.
Theme : La Primavera
Introductory vocabulary and phrases about all things Spring !
Weather, activities, sports and holidays. As well as colors and numbers 1-20.
SPANISH CLUB DETAILS : (K – 5th grade)
* Students will receive a personal kit with art supplies for use during class. Students will also receive a notebook with learning materials to keep.
* Music, dancing, games, singing and crafts.
* Colors, numbers, introductory vocabulary and basic sentences.
* Small class sizes. (limited to 8 families)
* Sibling discount 15%
* Drop-in $30
* Trial Fee $10 (register for session the same day as your trial to apply $10 towards session fee - invoice sent following trial class)
The teacher will bring the kits to class each week. They will be labeled with your child's name and only used by them.
For COVID safety, students over 2 years are required to wear masks. Students/families will sit 6+ feet from each other.

Erika does a great job of meeting kids where they are at (including accommodating the limitations of the very young ones), choosing easy and enjoyable crafts, and making it fun to learn Spanish! Due to the coronavirus pandemic, she had to make several adjustments (moving to an outdoor location, getting special clear masks so the kids can still see her speaking, making separate craft kits for each child, etc.), but she made it all work smoothly and I felt confident in the safety of the class.

Our son, Matthew, had an amazing time with Spanish Exploradores! Erika made all of the classes so fun and inviting, even when we had to move to Zoom due to COVID-19. Matthew loves using his Spanish words and reading in Spanish. This has opened a whole new world for him! My 4 year old loves Spanish Exploradores! She's been in the class for 3 months and frequently uses spanish now to count, name colors, and greet people. The class is fun and Senora Erika is very welcoming and engaging with all the kids in class.
